A small collection of books, scripts, printed ephemera, and secondary material which have grown out of Joan Lindsay's 1967 novel. The collection includes three editions of 'Picnic at Hanging Rock' – first Australian edition, Penguin paperback, illustrated edition – as well as the screenplay of Peter Weir's movie, the program for Gail Wiltshire's retelling, two editions of Yvonne Rousseau's musings. Two small abrasions on the title page where something has been removed and partially affecting the author's name, else fine in dustwrapper designed by Alison Forbes.
